J. Sydney Morris is an American author living in Scotland. She began writing creative stories at the age of nine to the tune of “Aryana and the Hidden Dragon” and “Horror on the Coosawatee River”, both of which she has promised will never leave the cupboard in her mother’s house, except to travel across the Atlantic to the cupboard in her own.

Morris has a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Florida, and has worked on storytelling projects her entire professional career, which has undoubtedly been a winding road. When living in Italy, Morris began writing her travel blog, and eventually worked for a local travel agency in Florence running their social media and blog. From there, Morris realised travelling the world and crafting these stories was more than a job, it was a passion. In 2016 The Boho Traveller began its origins, and now it is a full scale luxury travel agency.

In 2020 the world shut down due to the big C, and travel was not an option any more, but the creative juices began to flow. That year was the year Morris began working on the first concepts of what would be her first completed manuscript, a working title now known as “Beduäfan”.
